About the Scholarship

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette is aware that it may be difficult for international students to afford college. It established the Fleur-de-Lis International Scholarships to help people with financial planning. Applications are being accepted right now for the school year 2022–2023.

Freshman foreign college students who wish to enroll in an undergraduate program may submit an application for this award. To be eligible, candidates must have an overall GPA of 2.50 or higher and an ACT composite score of 20 or higher, or a SAT score of 1030 or higher. The reward is $6,864 each semester for a maximum of eight semesters

Benefits of the Scholarship

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette will pay up to eight semesters of undergraduate study for the selected international students at a rate of $6,864 each semester.

Scholarship Eligibility

All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the Fleur-de-Lis Undergraduate Scholarships at University of Louisiana, USA 2022-23

  • The candidates’ total GPA must be 2.50 or above.
  • The candidates must have a composite ACT score of 20 or a SAT score of 1030.
  • Regular admission to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette is required of all candidates.

Eligible Course or Subjects: Courses offered by the University.

Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the given criteria:

  • Prior to being considered for admission, applicants must submit an online application to the university. All suitably qualified applicants will be taken into account.
  • Needed Papers: The university requires the following paperwork from the students:
  • True copies of all secondary academic documents that are authenticated or official
  • a transcript of grades
  • a bank statement attesting to the funding
  • Entrance Requirements: The candidates must successfully finish an accredited secondary curriculum equating to a U.S. high school diploma.
  • Language prerequisite: The following English language proficiency exams’ results must be submitted by the students:
    • TOEFL IBT – 79
    • TOEFL PBT – 550
    • IELTS – 6.5
    • Duolingo – 100
    • ACT English – 18
    • SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing – 500
    • Accuplacer Writing – 250
